- The main unit is waterproof, but if it gets wet, wipe it off as soon as possible so that no water remains. Do not leave the main unit wet or leave a wet cloth on the main unit. The wood can also breathe and move, so we made it with a little leeway.
- The size of the Garigari Scratching Block may change slightly depending on the environment during the production period due to humidity, dryness, etc. If there is a gap where the Garigari Scratching Block can move, please use the included "Sponge Adjusters for Scratching Board" parts to fill the gap on the side of the main unit.

Garigari Scratching Board
Regular nail grinder is unstable and moves during nail grinding, making it difficult for cats to grind nails. The reason why it moves is often due to the size and lightness of the conventional nail grinder. The spacious size and solid weight of our Garigari Scratching Board is stable and will not move even if your cat grind his nails as hard as he can.

4. Safe and secure specifications for cats
Safe, lick-safe paint, which is also used for human tableware, is used.
It contains no formaldehyde, etc., and organic solvents such as toluene, xylene, and methanol are not used. The paint has passed the Food Safety and Sanitation Law. All corners are rounded to prevent injury even if a cat bumps into it. Corrugated cardboard is also made in Japan, and no fluorescent bleach, which is not allowed under the Food Sanitation Law, is used in the solvent used to recycle used paper. We use materials that are less burdensome even if shavings are eaten.

Development Story
The development was inspired by Naruto, the first cat employee of Nekozuki. He was stressed because many conventional nail grinders were too thin and his body would stick out or move, making it difficult for him to claw his nails calmly. Since the product is made of natural wood and Japanese cardboard, it may expand or contract due to changes in environment and humidity, such as during the humid rainy season or dry winter season when heating is used. As a countermeasure, we have created special parts to fill in the gaps. This is included in the initial set. It can also be purchased separately.
Q. The board moves when my energetic cat jumps on it violently. What should I do?
A. Some ideas from our customers are shown below.-You can cut a thin rubber non-slip mat from a home improvement store to a slightly smaller size and place it underneath.-We cut a commercially available non-slip mat into small pieces and place it on the four corners to stabilize it.
